A song inspired by an ominous passage from Chapter 12 of the Bible book of Ecclesiastes, that seems to be alluding to our body's final years on earth. 'Grinders ceasing' referring to the loss of teeth, windows' being our eyes failing, our pitcher being cracked at the fountain, etc!
Here is some literary fare put to music from a poem I wrote some twenty years ago.
Here is an instrumental with appropriate 'Russian vibe' and accompanying artwork I based on John Lavery's painting of Anna Pavlova, the prima ballerina of the late 19th and early 20th century.
Tears in the Glen is the latest single from Jeremy Spencer. Released May 2021.
The Maid of Donadee is an Irish flavoured track along with the accompanying picture, adapted from Augustus Burke's painting of a Connemara girl.
For now, I will be mostly posting singles of my music, hopefully, to ensure each 'piece' gets maximum attention! I will not go into any interpretation of these pictures; I prefer leaving such elucidation to the listener!
Natalis is my musical greeting to you with angelic slide 'airs' and a Christmas card I drew many years ago. Happy Christmas!
